Opportunities and Current Needs
Since MEC is a relational church we don’t have many programs. We think this is good. Opportunities are often based upon who is available and willing to help us create something new and life-giving even if it’s short-term. So start the conversation and see what might develop. We do have a few needs currently, including the following:
- Children’s Ministry Teachers on Sunday Mornings
- Bible Club (Wednesdays at 1PM in Fullerton)
- Set-up Crew on Sundays
Why does a church like MEC Exist?
Southern California is a very diverse place. We celebrate this, but living here can be confusing and it is easy to miss meaningful interactions with people who look, think, speak, and act different from us. Maple Evangelical Church (MEC) is a community created by authentic, cross-cultural, and bilingual (English and Spanish) relationships designed to fill this relational void and bring people together in a unique, rich expression of faith. MEC is a deliberate community where opportunity exists to meet real needs of vulnerable people, experience cross-cultural learning close to home, and foster global relationship now.
