Worship Academy is an opportunity for young people from the north Orange County area to play and sing in a worship band, sharpen their instrumental or vocal skills alongside skilled musicians, and grow in their desire for the Lord.

The Worship Academy partners with and serves several like-minded churches in the North Orange County area and is hosted through Maple Evangelical Church.

We are looking for Teens, ages 12 (7th Grade) through 17, who play guitar, piano/keyboard, bass, drums, or sing and want to serve God with this dynamic group.
We are looking for College Students who can play instruments or sing and want to invest their time learning to better lead worship and serve by mentoring younger leaders in the academy.
We are looking for Parents and Adults willing to join us in our mission. We need adults who can help organize our rehearsals and interact as friends and spiritual mentors to our students. In the same way, musicians are needed who can instruct young people on their instruments and voice.

Our Purpose is to instruct and educate about the technique and knowledge needed to be a well rounded worship musician, and to guide the hearts of the next generation to be true worshippers ready to do God's work.

The focus of the Worship Academy is based on the commission found in Ephesians 4:12, to equip believers for service and ministry which leads to spiritual maturity and reasoned belief founded in Christ alone.

Weekly rehearsals will be held Monday evenings 6:30 - 8:30. During these times we will worship together as a team as we prepare to lead services. Learn from expert musicians in small groups. Grow in knowledge and wisdom as we study scripture.

Every year we will have several opportunities to lead worship in churches, youth groups, and special events in Southern California.
